– Hot-dip galvanizing (main method in engineering): – Process: The steel pipe is immersed in molten zinc at around 450°C, resulting in a zinc layer ranging from 20 to 120 micrometers in thickness.
– Features: Even galvanization inside and out, strong adhesion, excellent corrosion resistance. Can be used outdoors for 15 to 30 years.
– Zinc layer weight: ≥275g/㎡ (national standard).
– Cold-galvanized (electroplated zinc, rarely used): – Process: room-temperature electrochemical deposition.
