Material and galvanization process.
1. Base material: Q195, Q235B low-carbon steel strip. High toughness, easy to weld, resistant to cracking.
2. Type of process.
– Pre-galvanized pipes (galvanized strip pipes): The strip steel is first galvanized and then wound and welded into pipes. The zinc coating is uniform and has a shiny surface. The thickness of the zinc coating ranges from 25 to 40 μm. It offers good value for money and is suitable for dry/mild outdoor use.
– Hot-dip galvanized pipes (HDG): The black pipes are fully galvanized after shaping. The zinc layer ranges from 80 to 120 μm, providing enhanced corrosion protection, making them suitable for coastal, humid, and high-salt-mist environments.
3. Surface appearance: smooth, silver-gray color; no visible burrs; weld seams are flat; can be directly painted, bent, or drilled.
