Aluminum-coated zinc is a material applied to metals through the hot-dip process. Therefore, the thickness of aluminum-coated zinc steel coils is similar to that of hot-dip galvanized steel coils. The coating thickness varies depending on the substrate, and the hot-dip coating thickness is approximately 1 mil. Under the same coating thickness, the lifespan of aluminum-coated zinc steel is usually longer than that of galvanized steel, depending on the environment.
