The radar level gauge is a measuring instrument based on the time-travel principle. This measuring instrument emits electromagnetic waves to the surface of the measured medium through an antenna system. The surface of the medium reflects the electromagnetic wave signals, which are then received by the antenna system. The measuring instrument uses the operation required by the radar pulse.
The level of the material can be calculated based on the time and the height of the input container.
The radar beam of the level gauge has low energy. It can be installed in various metal or non-metal containers or pipelines to conduct non-contact continuous measurement of the level of liquids, slurries and granular materials. It is suitable for applications where there are significant changes in dust, temperature and pressure, as well as the presence of inert gases and steam.
The radar level gauge poses no harm to the human body or the environment. It also has the advantages of being unaffected by the density of the medium, being independent of changes in dielectric constant, and not requiring on-site calibration.
